Pet-A-Palooza

Hagopian Cleaning Services was proud to be a sponsor of this year's Pet-A-Palooza. In an attempt to find good homes for hundreds of homeless kittens, cats, puppies and dogs, the 9th annual “Pet-A-Palooza” took place on Saturday, July 24th and Sunday, July 25th at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Despite a rainy start, Pet-a-Palooza 2010 went on to great success! Over the course of the weekend hundreds of people thronged the Pet-a-Palooza pavilion in the parking lot of the Palace.  They were entertained by the Rock-n-Roll K-9s, charmed by the efforts of animals competing in the Pet Idol talent search, and educated by trainers volunteering their time for this great cause.

Hagopian Cleaning Services, Purina, local radio stations WOMC and WYCD, and many others sponsored this year's event. Pet-a-Palooza was launched in 2001 by local animal rights advocate Joe Sowerby whose pet adoption events have helped almost 30,000 animals find loving homes. 441 of the 800 kittens, cats, dogs and puppies on hand from over 30 local animal shelters and rescue groups were adopted this year!
