RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER CARE COORDINATOR. 

• Assist customers in scheduling, re-scheduling and cancelling appointments, scheduling pickup & delivery appointments, confirming appointments, and follow-up on completed work orders.
• Handle complaints in a professional manner and complete necessary documentation.
• Answer incoming calls.
• Provide price estimates.
• Assist customers with general questions and concerns.
• Filing and general clerical duties.

Overview

The In-Plant Rug Cleaner helps the Rug Cleaning Specialist process and clean area rugs. There are also times when the Assistant will be on the road helping with pick-up and delivery of rugs to our customer’s homes as well as to our outer stores. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cleaning and processing of area rugs in our cleaning plant.
• Assist in preparing the workspace for the daily activities associated with rug washing.
• Assist with maintenance of the equipment, filling out maintenance request forms when needed.
• Assist Specialist in prepping rugs for cleaning.
• Work with Quality Control inspector to finish, roll and store completed rugs.
• Assist customers dropping off or picking up rugs, as needed.
• Participate in keeping work areas neat and well maintained.
• Fill in as a delivery assistant when needed.
• Work as a shuttle driver to our outer stores when needed
• Other duties assigned by Specialist or Manager.
• Work in other areas of the company when not needed in the Rug Cleaning Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT. 

• Diagnose and repair failures of vehicles, equipment, machinery and facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Perform necessary repairs at customer’s locations.
• Keep work areas clean, neat and safe.
• Perform weekly vehicle inspections.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
• Some carpentry, electrical. Plumbing, welding, painting as well as vehicle repair.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED AS OUR MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT. 

• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record as well as pass a background check and D.O.T Physical.
• Able to work a schedule that involves local travel to various locations.
• Ability to use and function in an environment that uses commercial cleaning solvents.
• Ability to follow safe work practices, proper lifting techniques & wear protective equipment.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist and reach; lift objects greater than 50 pounds w/assistance.
• Possess sufficient hearing and vision to perform the functions of this position.
• Possess an impeccable attendance record, an exceptional work ethic and exemplary time management skills.
